What to Expect:
A fast-paced, hands-on workshop that takes you from Scratch basics to a finished game.
- Warm-up and Tour of Scratch: Meet the tools, sprites, backdrops, and code blocks.
- Core Concepts Mini-Lessons: Sequencing, loops, conditionals, and events with quick demos.
- Live Demo Build: Instructor models a simple game from start to scorekeeping.
- Create Your Own Game: Guided build time with checklists and optional challenges for different levels.
- Break: A short mid-session break is included.
- Showcase and Playtesting: Share games, gather feedback, and discuss improvements.
Who Should Attend:
- Youth in Grades 6–12 who enjoy games and want to learn how to make their own.
