Tech Days! by YouTech NB for Grades 9–12: Exploring Python, AI, and Data Science
Event Title:
Tech Days at MCAF! : Exploring Python, AI, and Data Science (Grades 9–12)
By the End of This Workshop, You Will Be Able To:
- Write Python programs using functions, variables, and conditions to build real-world tools like a calculator.
- Understand the fundamentals of data analytics and use tools like Excel or Google Sheets to explore and visualize datasets.
- Design and build a basic chatbot using Python or Dialogflow and understand how natural language processing (NLP) works.
- Analyze real-world data using Python libraries such as Pandas and Matplotlib.
- Learn how to build and train a machine learning model using Scikit-learn, exploring classification and prediction concepts.
What to Expect:
This advanced-level STEM workshop offers real-world applications of technology through practical, hands-on sessions tailored to high school learners:
- Session 01: Python for Beginners: Build a Simple Calculator
Learn Python fundamentals by designing a working calculator using variables, conditionals, and functions. - Session 02: Introduction to Data Analytics with Excel/Google Sheets
